We had the privilege of being asked to be a team for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) 2025 Wichita Student Visionaries of the Year campaign. Student Visionaries of the Year is a seven-week leadership development program that runs from January 16, 2025 to March 8, 2025 to raise money to help blood cancer patients not only survive but thrive after treatment.  We are writing today to ask for your support of our team’s campaign and LLS’s mission to find a cure for blood cancers and improve the quality of life for patients.

We are part of a team of committed friends and family. Together we have set a fundraising goal of $50,000!  The money raised helps LLS, the largest nonprofit dedicated to creating a world without blood cancers, fund research to advance lifesaving treatments, drive advocacy for policies that protect patient access to these treatments, and provide patients and families with hope, guidance, education and support. Our team is particularly passionate about patient education and support and will be representing this area of LLS during our campaign.

Patient education and support is all about helping blood cancer patients along with their families. In doing so, it will also provide free sources of information and education for them.

Crusaders for a Cure chose to participate in the Student Visionaries of the Year campaign because our team has seen the several struggles that come with a patient's tough battle. We hope to bring awareness towards the fight all face with blood cancer. Our campaign will provide support to the critical work of LLS in hopes that one day no one will have to grow up without the ones they love. We know that with your help, we can reach our goal and make a direct impact in the fight against blood cancers.
