My Reason-
First off, thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am so excited to bring awareness and to honor those who have lost their lives to blood cancer. I lost a dear friend to leukemia in 2010. I knew Kristen because of our close relationship from our dads. My dad and his two friends grew up together, and since then as their families have grown, we have all become one big family. Out of us kids, Kristen was the oldest, so she served as a mother and protector to all us young ones. Kristen had a heart of gold, and was always extremely selfless. Watching her go through cancer treatment was hard to understand at such a young age. I didn’t know why she had lost her hair, or why she had lost her spunk. I soon felt heavy with the realization that she was going to pass away. I was set with another task of watching her parents go through the mourning process. Our big family of friends and all of those who knew Kristen were crushed at the knowledge of her fight coming to an end. Even though Kristen passed, her spirit still lives in all of us. Her happiness and hopefulness continues to serve as an example we all try to follow. https://kristentransplant.blogspot.com/?m=1

More About Me-
My good friend Zoe Winter asked me if I would want to join this movement. I was more than willing to join and begin to honor those who have lost their lives along with Kristen. I am currently a junior at Trinity Academy, and am excited to see where the future takes me. I am wanting to major in Kinesiology, which will ultimately lead me to Athletic Training, with a background in Nutrition. I am always moving or doing some type of sport. I love to compete and test my abilities. You can always find me working hard and trying to accomplish everything given to me. I also love spending time with friends and family that never fail to make me laugh. I am so excited to see how much of a difference my team is going to make! I am so thankful for the team we have! Thank you so much for your support!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, welcome!
I encourage you to join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. By donating to LLS, you support the many facets of LLS’s mission work from investing in groundbreaking research, providing education and support to patients, and advocating at the state and federal level for legislation to help those living with cancer. My appreciation for your support cannot be overstated — each and every dollar donated to LLS brings us closer to our goal to end blood cancer and makes an impact for cancer patients and their families.
As a global leader in the fight to end cancer, LLS is committed to doing more for blood cancer patients and families than any organization in the world. LLS’s signature fundraising campaigns drive critical support for its mission, including a nearly $1.3 billion investment in cutting edge cancer research worldwide since it was founded in 1949. Since the 1960s, survival rates for many blood cancer patients have doubled, tripled, or even quadrupled.
Every facet of LLS’s mission – research, education and support, and policy and advocacy – work in harmony to put blood cancer patients and their families first. LLS has helped millions impacted by cancer throughout its more than 70-year history, even funding breakthrough blood cancer research to advance lifesaving treatments and cures that is now helping patients with other cancers and diseases. That is why at LLS we say that beating cancer is in our blood.
Please visit my website as often as you can and share it with everyone you know who would also like to join us in the fight against cancer. Together, we have the power, the passion and the resolve to achieve a world without blood cancer. All donations are tax-deductible.
On behalf of cancer patients and their families everywhere, I sincerely thank you for your support!

Lexie, we’re so proud of you! You’re an amazing, young lady! Our donation is in honor of my cousin, Kathy Hargis. She bravely fought leukemia and entered God’s Kingdom when she was 19 years old. We pray a cure will be discovered for all types of cancer, so friends and families never have to endure the heartbreak. Please God provide strength and love to patients and families who are currently fighting these difficult battles, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen🙏
