Welcome to Team Fighting 4 Ren's SOY Fundraising Page!

Jan 13, 2020

On August 18, 2019, the world lost a beautiful soul to a 3 year battle against a rare form of ovarian cancer. Caitlyn "Ren" Stuart was our best friend, and she was only 17 when cancer took her from us. She touched the lives of so many people, and she was an inspiration to us all. It is in her memory that we are participating in the 2020 Students of the Year program. This is a seven-week long campaign where we will work with our team to raise the most money and potentially earn the title of Students of the Year! We are honored to have been nominated for this task, and very excited to be apart of it.

Ren was not the only child in our small town of Rose Hill, KS, to have lost their fight against cancer. Charlie Futhey and Reese Naylor were two others who never got to grow up. We have seen first hand how terrible cancer is, and we don't want anybody else to go through what our friends had to. We want to be a part of the generation that sees an end to cancer, once and for all.

This is not only important to us, but to all of the people who have cancer or who will be diagnosed with it in the future. Many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are helping patients with other cancers and serious diseases. In fact, drugs first approved for blood cancers are now approved to treat patients with stomach cancers, skin cancers, and autoimmune diseases.

We have set an ambitious goal of $25,000. Will you help us reach that goal? Will you help us fight cancer? All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS-funded research but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need.

Please visit our website often and bring friends who would also like to donate! We are honored to have your help in this mission. You are helping save lives!
