OUR MISSION
Our Mission as KC Cure Crew is to spread awareness to students to see what they can do to benefit the mission of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We know that so many people want to help organizations such as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, but they don't have an outlet to do so! We also wanted to make a community of leaders to go out into their community and make a difference and help raise money for a greater good! There are so many people throughout our teams lives that have struggled with different forms of cancer and we wanted to help make a big step in helping cure leukemia and lymphoma! We are super excited to be a part of this amazing campaign and would love your support in our campaign and the mission of LLS Cure Crew!

MEETING KC CURE CREW
My name is McKinley Van Slyke! I was nominated to be an LLS Student of the Year. I wanted to be a Student of the Year because I think it is such a good way to make a huge impact in your community and such good life skills. I wanted to focus on students in my campaign because so many kids want to help and make a difference in their community, but they don't have the tools to do so. Also, in doing this I wanted to help spread my campaign through my community and make a team of high schoolers with connections to LLS and to create a community within our own team as well!! Super excited to see what me and my team can accomplish!
TEAM MEETING
On November 8th some of our team got the opportunity to meet togther for a dinner meeting to go over some steps to contniue our campign. We worked on details for events we are planning and go over everyone's individual roles and how we are going to raise as much money as we can! As a team we have a lot of great ideas and are so ready to bring them into our campign. We are so excited to help LLS and can't wait to get started!!
