Brisel was born and raised in Florida. She is a senior at Miami Country Day School. Brisel has played volleyball for the past 5 years. She has two younger siblings, Christopher her brother and Isabella her sister. She is a member of several clubs which include Ellie’s Army and the Mental Health Awareness Club. For Ellie’s Army she helps prepare for the annual Dirty Socks Walk to help raise money for those suffering from Cystic Fibrosis and other life threatening illnesses. She also volunteers for her volleyball club by helping coach younger players and assisting the coaches in leading practices. Brisel was inspired to join LLS because her great uncle died due to cancer.
