What is My Why?
After seeing the impact this campaign can have through my involvement with team Helping Hands in the 2020 Students of the Year campaign, I was certain I wanted to be involved when I was nominated to be a candidate myself. Not only am I honored to do this in memory of my late Grandpa, who lost his battle to Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2001, but I am also excited for my team and I to make an impact in the fight against a disease that affects the lives of so many. Everyone can do something and when being handed the perfect opportunity to do something big and touch lives, I couldn’t pass up the chance.

Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, my efforts will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today and in the future.
LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling, tripling, and, in some cases, even quadrupling. Many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.
We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.

My dad is 92 and will have his last round of chemo for leukemia in about a week. He's doing great! Each round of chemo costs about $26,000 dollars and what wasn't covered by insurance was generously covered by donors like this.
