My name is Tanisha Suri, and I am a candidate for the Answer 4 Cancer. I joined LLS because I want to help put an end to cancer. Cancer has taken the lives of so many innocent people. It hurt to see this, so I knew I needed to help out. Witnessing the pain that millions of innocent people face caused by cancer has led me to join the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), driven by a deep desire to make a difference. Kelly Clarkson's quote, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger," perfectly captures the resilience I see in those facing cancer. By being a part of LLS, I'm turning empathy into strength, contributing to the fight against this disease, and being a part of a collective effort that helps individuals and their families emerge stronger from the challenges of cancer.
