Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for supporting me in my fight to cure blood cancer! I am running as a candidate this year for team The Return of Best Bloods Crush Cancer 2.0 and I am so excited to fundraise again this year. This campaign is very special to me. After attending many LLS events when I was younger, I campaigned for the first time in 8th grade under Morgan Confer's team Best Bloods Crush Cancer! The next year we ran again as co-candidates and then we joined the Student Leadership Team the year after. I'm excited to continue the legacy of this team as Morgan goes off to college. 

I started working with LLS in honor of my uncle Franklin. He sadly passed away from leukemia on March 6, 2001 when he was just 22 years old. He was diagnosed in 1997 and battled leukemia for four years. My hope is that other families do not have to experience losing someone to blood cancer as mine has.

As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:

• Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
• Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
• Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
