Brinley Tebit | Dragons Crush Cancer
Brinley's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
Hi, my name is Brinley Tebit, and I am very excited to help you help me save lives! I am currently a sophomore in high school attending Glenelg Country School. I love engaging with my community and am involved in many extracurriculars such as the Community Service Club, Student Council, Merit Health Leadership Academy, Sophmore Leadership Team, and the Soccer, Indoor, and Outdoor Track & Field teams. Some of my hobbies are playing tennis outside of school and spending time with the ones I love. One of my favorite things is giving my service to the community, and I feel that I was called to be a part of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to use my strengths to help fight for those suffering from cancer, and to help improve the lives of those individuals and their families.
With that, I hope you are willing to help support my team and I reach our goal through these 7 weeks to raise funds and awareness for the fight against blood cancers!
We all know that for many years cancer has been a detrimental factor in some people's lives in the world today, and despite our constant efforts to find a cure for it, we just haven't yet. The way I see it, every dollar fundraised to support the efforts of researching cancer is one step closer to finding a cure for all the people who, unfortunately, have suffered from this unforeseeable disease. I am very passionate about being a part of this mission because I want to give my contribution to help fight the cause that many people have had to face. I believe that everyone deserves a life where they don't have to worry about whether or not they will be able to see tomorrow.
Spread the word! We want everyone to know that LLS needs their help to fight the cause! Use my link, https://events.lls.org/md/svoymd23/btebit, and share it with friends, family, and people at the workplace. Thank you!
Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.
I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help.
This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:
- Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics, and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
- Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
- Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!
