In the words of the world-known artist, Drake, "the journey teaches us a lot about our destination." When thinking about your accomplishments you start to realize how much effort and commitment you had put into them. The journey of all that hard work got you to your dream destination. In the fight against cancer, we have to consider this. Cancer takes so many lives every year. That is why I joined to be part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) campaign. I want to be part of the journey in the lives of cancer patients. I want to see them get to their goal destination. Most of us, whether close or distanced, have some relationship to cancer. We, LLS, have the great goal of eliminating cancer from the world, and with your assistance, we will hopefully get there. LLS gives those who have lost hope in their journey, but we should never stop reminding them that no one fights cancer alone. We all deserve to reach our destination.

I am participating in The LLS Student Visionaries of the Year campaign to raise money and awareness for blood cancer patients & their families. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS exists to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients.

This goal will only be something with your help. If you can spare anything from $1-$1,000, it will make a huge difference in the fight against cancer.
