No matter where it comes from, we all have a connection to cancer. Every year rougly 1.9 million people are diagnosed with cancer in the US. Of that 1.9 million, rougly 600,000 people die of cancer. But we can help change those numbers. Cancer affects all of us, and if we stand hand in hand by raising awareness and donating, we can make the dream of a world without cancer come true. We need to stand together, as one, and help fund this fight to end cancer. 

I have joined the fight as a Team Member for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign. My team hopes to become the Answer 4 Cancer and raise as much money as possible in donations to help fund LLS's mission of ending blood cancers everywhere.
