Hi everyone! My name is Leila Khoury and I am a Sophomore at McDonogh School. 

This year, I had the opportunity to fundraise for the team Soaring and Curing to help make a difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families. I, along with the other amazing people on my team, am so excited to raise as much money as possible to support this amazing cause.

If you generously decide to make a donation, your money will go to:

• Funding cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
• Providing free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
• Mobilizing thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.

I have joined this cause because I don't want anybody to ever experience the pain of losing a close friend or relative to cancer, and thanks to LLS, I may be able to make that happen, but I can't do it alone. Thanks to your generous donations, LLS may be able to transform or even save the lives of cancer patients. Though even one life saved would be amazing, let's work together to improve the lives of as many people as we possibly can!
