Last year, I started this campaign, not knowing what to expect. I mostly joined the campaign to support my friends in their journey as candidates. As a team, we worked extremely hard to rise funds and awarness in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's mission. 

Each year, at the end of the SVOY Campaign, LLS holds a Grande Finale to celebrate each candidate and team member and their amazing work throughout the 7 week long campaign. I was fortunate enough to attend Grande Finale last year with my candidates and fellow team members. Grande Finale opened my eyes to the impact each person in the fundraiser makes. This campaign is truely filled with the most amazing people, inspired to make a difference.

I gained so much knowledge and appreciation for the patients and their families while participating in this campaign last year. When I was asked to come back to be a team member once again, I decided to dedicate my campaign to making an even bigger impact on finding a cure to blood cancers. I wasnt to support the families of patients as they try to navigate the very difficult and emotional time that comes with a blood cancer diagnosis. 

My goals for this campaign can not be met alone. With the love and support of my families and friends, I hope to raise funds for this amazing cause.
