Hello my name is Elizabeth Etuaful and I am currently a high school sophomore at Glenelg Country School. ​​​​​​I engage in many extracurricualr activities including the girls soccer team, track team, and the French Honor Society; while also volunteering and leading for multiple school events including working as an Observatory Educator over the summer, my Sophomore Leadership Project on Under the Sea last November, and our annual Holiday Bazaar this past December. I am instrumental/musical enthusiast who enjoys composing and listening to a varitety of genres. As a hobby, I enjoy coding and learning about the natural world and through this campaign I hope to display these fond abilities in action. It has always been my passion is to help those in need by contributing my support and connections to make this world a better place for all and the future generations.

Hello, my name is Elizabeth and this year I am proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year (SVOY) Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on the vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers. As a visionary I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help.

What is our mission?

As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer:

• Visionaries look to the future to find infinite possibilties through the funds of cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics, and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients.

• Through challenging the status quo by providing free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.

• By boldly imagining a better world through lead and charge by mobilizing thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
