Hi, My name is Morgan Baird, and I am a Sophomore at Notre Dame Preparatory School.  This year, I am working with Team Impact to compete in a fundraising competition to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Every dollar raised counts as one vote for my campaign. The candidate(s) whose team tallies the most votes earns the prestigious title of Student or Students of the Year. Will you help me earn that title?

I joined this campaign because ending cancer is personal to me.  When I was two, my dad was diagnosed with melanoma.  Luckily the doctors were able to spot it early before it spread to his lymph nodes.  If it had spread, then my dad would have been given only 3-5 years to live.  The thought of not having my dad in my life today is so scary to think about.  I am hoping by raising funds, a cure will be found and we can take this heartache away from other families.  

As you know, everyone wins when cancer loses.  Thanks to your support, my efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives.  Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.

As a part of our campaign, we are asked to raise funds in a seven-week period.  Our goal, as Team Impact, aims to raise $100,000.  In order to achieve our goal we need your help.  Between February 5, 2022 and March 26, 2022, please join me in supporting this great cause, and changing all the lives affected by blood cancer.
