Hello, my name is Lillia Mills and I am a co-candidate for the Rebels For a Cure Team. I am a sophomore at South Hagertsown High School and love supporting organizations reaching to help others. I am so excited for this campaign and know we reach our goals with your help!
 
I joined this campaign as soon as I heard about it. My co-candidate, Mae Crews, was a candidate last year and I helped her during her telethon fundraiser. When Mae asked me and my other co-candidate, Riley,  to join her this year we both knew we wanted to join the campaign. If given the chance I always try to support organizations that are helping to better the lives of people within our community. I know that so many people are touched by this campaign throughout this world and I love that I can be apart of the process to reach a cure for blood cancer. 
 
Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. And LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.
 
We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!
