My name is Burhan Buttar and I am a student of the year candidate working with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to raise as much money as possible over the next 7 weeks. Every dollar raised will help support LLS in their initiative to help people with blood cancer. I have a strong passion for learning and creating change wherever possible, which is why I have decided to lead the campaign for Team BAN Blood Cancer.
 

Why donate? I know many friends who have been affected by blood cancers, and the journey to overcome blood cancer is not easy. These people are truly resilient, and have inspired me to be an active member of this fundraiser. 

Thanks to your support, the team's efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives. Support from generous people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have significantly increased the survival rate for some blood cancers.
 
Many LLS-supported therapies are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day. Your contributions can make a difference!
