Did you know that more than a million Americans are fighting a daily battle with blood cancers and every 3 minutes, another person unwillingly joins the fight?

This year, I am so excited to announce that I am participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Students of the Year (SOY) Campaign for the Maryland Chapter. The SOY Campaign is a unique leadership development opportunity for high school students designed to help raise funds for those with blood cancers. Donations can be collected till March 6^th, 2021, and the student/team that raises the most will be named Maryland’s Student of the Year!

In my mind Students of the Year has a purpose to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. With your help towards the initiative set for my team in achieving this goal you WILL make a great impact on new cancer studies and give hope to victims and families suffering around the world. Our team, The Warriors, is proud to support LLS, especially because leukemia is the second leading cause of cancer death in children under the age of 20.

Our team aims to raise $25,000!  In order to do that, we need your help. We can’t start collecting monetary donations until January 15, 2021. 

We will be hosting a number of fundraising events during that time period and would love to have your participation!
