Students of the Year Baltimore
Neelam Shah
Welcome to Neelam Shah's SOY Fundraising Page!
Hi, My name is Neelam Shah, and I am a freshman at the Calverton School. This year I am working with Charlie Blocksidge and Team Finish the Fight to compete in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This Student of the Year Campaign, that I am competing for, allows highly motivated high school students who are interested in leadership, volunteerism, and philanthropy, and to make a difference in the lives of those touched by blood cancer.
My personal connection to LLS began 4 1/2 years ago when my dad was diagnosed with Primary Mediastinal B Cell Lymphoma. Thanks to new, life-changing research and amazing doctors and nurses, he made a full recovery and now continues to serve his own patients in Southern Maryland. LLS has helped to fund some of the greatest innovations in blood cancer research and is on the path to find the ultimate goal of a world without blood cancer.
I would like to help LLS attain their goal of curing all blood cancers. As part of our campaign, we are asked to raise funds in a seven-week period. Our goal, as Team Finish the Fight, aims to raise $50,000. In order to achieve our goal we need your help. Between January 19, 2019 and March 9, 2019, please join me in supporting this great cause, and changing all the lives affected by blood cancer.
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
Please visit my website often and bring other friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere I thank you for your support!

Neelam
