Students of the Year Boston
Disha Nayak | An Answer for Cancer
Welcome To My Fundraising Page!
I am deeply honored to participate as a candidate for the 2022 Students of the Year program, raising money in honor of an Honored Hero, who is currently battling or in remission from a blood cancer. My motivation from my personal connection to cancer and a strong belief that nobody should be put through this pain, will allow me to make huge impacts in the lives of blood cancer patients and families. Our mission is to not only raise money to support patients but to also bring attention to blood cancers, like leukemia, which is the most common form of cancer in children and teens.
Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation towards my fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, my efforts will help fund therapies and treatments vital for patients, and help save lives today.
LLS's continued advancements, over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.
And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic, and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now also being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Multiple Sclerosis.
We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax-deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but will go back directly to patients through patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well. Your donation would save many lives and touch even more hearts!
Please visit my website often and bring friends who would also like to donate!
Every 3 minutes, someone in the United States is diagnosed with a blood cancer, and every 9 minutes, someone dies of one, but together we have the power to change that.
On behalf of blood cancer patients, families, and caregivers everywhere I thank you for your support!
