Meet me! My name is Julia Wesinger and I am a  senior at Pemboke High School in Pembroke, MA! I plan to attend college next year and my major is political science, pre-law. I am a current 2020 Students of the Year Candidate and am a very passionate person who would like
nothing more than to make a difference in the world! 

I chose to become a SOY candidate because of my hopes to help those around me and save as many kids and families from cancer as possible, but also because my grandmother passed away from ovarian cancer in May 2008. I truly believe that the more people who become involved and put in the time and energy (and money) the more lives we can save. 

In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my friends, watching Disney movies, playing the flute, doing anything that involves Harry Potter, playing with my sisters (14 and 2), and going to Mock Trial and Model UN meetings.
