Every 3 minutes a person in the United States is diagnosed with blood cancer, and every 9 minutes, someone passes away from blood cancer. 

In my personal life, I have been fortunate enough to not have to deal with the repercussions of blood cancer. However, not everyone has this same blessing. In the United States alone, more than 1.5 million people are living with or in remission from leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes, or myeloproliferative neoplasms.

Your donation allows LLS to continue to provide free information, education, and support for blood cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, families, and healthcare professionals. In 2021 alone, LLS provided $241 million in financial assistance to over 42,000 patients, and can only continue their mission and assist others with help from your generous donations. 

“Why should I donate to Sanvi?” you may ask. What is her motive? What makes her different from the other candidates? For starters, I’m fueled by my desire to help others. My growing need to help others feel joy, in ways that I have allowed myself to feel. This campaign allows all those affected by blood cancer to be benefited- whether it's by allowing LLS to get closer to finding cures, or allowing me to get closer to my fundraising goal.

Any donation helps, it helps the victims of blood cancer, it helps LLS make groundbreaking finds and treatments, it helps advocate in public policy issues, it helps my campaign, and it helps countless others in the future.
