My name is Rachel Perlmutter and I'm a candidate for this year's Student of the Year competition. I'm an outgoing and bubbly person who never fails to exceed others' expecations or put a smile on someone's face. When I heard about the comeptition this past summer, I knew I wanted to build a team to compete. I'm so proud of the team I've assembled and I'm confident we'll be able to exceed our goal of $30,000. I unfortunately have many family members who have been diagnosed with some form of cancer. They've all put up a strong fight, some having made it throgh and some sadly did not. I would love to honor these people with my campaign and I hope to make them all proud of me.
