I have decided to partake in this campaign in honor of my dad, who is officially ten years cancer free, and in memory of my uncle, Chet, who passed away in August of 2022 from stomach cancer. In these two periods of my life, I have seen how cancer affects both patients and their families. LLS and the Student Visionaries campaign has given me the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of families going through the same thing that mine did. My campaign will provide support to the critical work of LLS in hopes that one day no one will have to grow up without the ones they love. I know that with your help, I can reach my goal and make a direct impact in the fight against blood cancers.
