Hi! My name is Marah Mohrman and this year I am running in LLS's Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign! I am a sophmore at North Central High School and I am in my eighth season with Indy Dance Academy's Youth Competition Company! I love reading, spending time with my family and friends, skiiing, and going to the beach. I am so excited to be apart of Student Visionaries of the Year, and run my campaign!

I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help.

This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission. This year I was asked by one of my best friends and former Stundent Visionary, Annemie DeRussel to consider running in thie years campaign. After meeting with my LLS staff member, Morgan Soderholm, and learning about the campaign I knew it was something I wanted to be apart of! I love that I have the chance to make an impact in others lives, and make a difference in the world. I am so grateful to be apart of LLS this year and for the amazing support of all my team members! I am excited to see what my campaign will do to make a difference this year!

As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:

• Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics, and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
• Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
• Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
