Hey all! My name is Parker Peterson, and I'm a sophomore at LaPorte High School in LaPorte, Indiana. I was recently nominated for the Students of the Year program through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. SoY is a seven week long fundraising competition against other high school candidates and their teams to see who can raise the most money for LLS and their mission to cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life for their patients and families. I have formed a team of ten close friends and family members to help raise money for this worthy cause.
