As many of you know, these past five weeks I have been fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as a part of their Student of the Year campaign. With only about two weeks left, I am doing everything I can to help win the fight against cancer. Every dollar is a dollar to end cancer, so every donation counts!

Today my campaign officially started!! I'll be honest, I was pretty nervous, but I've already raised quite a bit of money, thanks to all of my donors and my amazing team! Something I was reminded of tonight is that every dollar donated is a dollar to end cancer. So please, donate to this cause, even if it's just five dollars, and if you can't donate, share this link and please support this cause any way you can. Too many people have suffered because of cancer, and you have the opportunity to be apart of the generation to cure cancer. Join us today and take a leap towards a cancer free future. I have signed up to save lives with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and am working to raise as much as possible over the next 7 weeks. Every dollar raised counts as one vote for my campaign. As you know, everyone wins when cancer loses. Thanks to your support, my efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives. Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers. Your donation means a lot to me, because you are helping people who are very important to me in my life. My uncle, Mike, who was able to beat Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, while my cousin, Maureen, has also been touched by the same form of cancer, and a close family friend and priest is in the midst of his battle with myeloma. 
 
Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. And LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.
 
We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!
