Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I have signed up to save lives with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and am working to raise as much as possible over the next 7 weeks. During my past school breaks, I have had the incredible opportunity to shadow a diverse group of surgery specialties and learn more about medicine. I quickly became amazed by the degree healthcare professionals could help others, and I could see that appreciation shined right back to them from the patients. I’ve met numerous kind and inspiring individuals in medicine, and I hope to follow them in my career path. Although I wish I could help people by doing ground-breaking research and inventing new surgical techniques, I don’t have the experience nor education necessary right now. Until then, the Student of the Year campaign is a great way for me to help others and impact the medical field.
