Craig's Students of the Year Fundraiser
Jan 10, 2022
Dearest Friends and Family,
We pray the New Year is off to a very blessed start for each of you, and you are looking forward to all the great things 2022 will bring to each of you and your families.
Arabella, our youngest daughter, was nominated to be a Student of the Year candidate for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS). We are incredibly proud of her for taking on such a monumental challenge. This letter kicks off her campaign.
Arabella was faced with some sad news, when her dearest friend in second grade was diagnosed with Leukemia. Arabella watched her friend go through numerous rounds of treatments and challenges at such a young age. Her friend Olivia, missed nearly an entire year of school. Arabella and friends, along with their families, rallied around Olivia and her family to try and make life a little easier for them. Arabella also hosted Olivia an “END of CHEMO” shopping spree to celebrate with her beautiful friend. We are excited to report seven years later, Olivia is Cancer free thanks to the LLS Society and the generous donations they got for research and treatments.
Also, this year’s campaign is especially significant as our dear family friends mother Freda, is celebrating her 8th year in remission of Stage 4 Lymphoma.
I know each of you unfortunately may know someone who has been impacted by Leukemia/Lymphoma.
The mission of LLS is to cure these dreadful cancers, but they cannot do it without your help!
As a result of generous donations over the past 50 years, the survival rate of children with leukemia have gone from 3% to 90%. Arabella and her team “Color me Red” are trying to get that number
to 100%. I am asking and thanking each and every one of you in advance to kindly consider a donation to Arabella’s mission.
Every dollar raised, is a vote for her campaign, and more importantly a vote to cure cancer!
Because of donations like yours, millions of people are receiving successful treatments and getting closer to being cured!
Enclosed is a donation form and envelope to make it easy for you to send your tax-deductible contribution (checks are payable to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – write Sabrina & Craig Jensen in the memo line). You may also visit our fundraising page at https://events.lls.org/in/indianasoy22/cjensen
and click “DonateNow” to make a tax-deductible donation to our campaign.
We thank you for your consideration in helping Arabella and “Color me Red” in the fight to cure cancer!
Love and Blessings,
Sabrina & Craig Jensen
