I am so proud to announce that I have been nominated to participate in the Students of the Year program with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I'm competing with other Students for the Year candidates to raise the most money. My personal goal is to raise $50,000, and I need your help to get there! I was inspired by my aunt to participate in this competition who is in cancer research and has made many contributions to the medical community. Growing up, I lost family members to different types of cancers, including leukemia, and I wanted to work towards a cure in memory of those who I've lost.
