Welcome to Darren & Jennie Keller's SOY Fundraising Page!

Dear Friends and Family,

I have been reared in a world closely linked to cancer and experienced it first hand with my Grammie’s battle with lymphoma. I have seen the effects cancer has on the patient and all who love them. My grandfather created Cancer Treatments Centers of America ® after his mother passed away from a treatable cancer. After experiencing such immense heartbreak, he wanted to make a difference in the lives of patients and transform the world of cancer and healthcare. As the Vice Chairman of CTCA, my father is continuing our family’s mission work to empower patients to win their fight against cancer. Because of this, it is a given that fighting for cures is in my blood. In 2012, my Grammie was diagnosed with lymphoma. I never imagined such an important, sweet, and loving person in my life would have to fight such a devastating disease. After experiencing cancer through her, the indescribable pain she had to endure was too much to bear. I knew I had to take on this challenge because I want to join the battle against cancer so others no longer have to suffer and die.

Thank you for joining me in this campaign!

Madi Keller

Welcome to Darren & Jennie Keller's SOY Fundraising Page!

We are honored to participate as team members for teamRELENTLESS!

Our daughter, Madi Keller, is a part of the 2020 Students of the Year program, a seven-week initiative in which select high school students from around the country participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Each dollar raised is a vote for Madi!  The candidate team that raises the most money at the end of the seven weeks is named Student of the Year. Our mission is to not only raise the most money but also to bring attention to blood cancers like leukemia, which is the most common form of cancer in children and teens.

Since the early 1960s, five-year survival rates for many blood cancer patients have doubled, tripled or even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are helping patients with other cancers and serious diseases. In fact, drugs first approved for blood cancers are now approved to treat patients with stomach cancers, skin cancers, and autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis.

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS-funded research but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need.

Please visit our website often and bring friends who would also like to donate!

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support!

I am very proud to know such a wonderful young lady and great family. As I work my schedule for next week to allow me to take my mother to her treatment, reading the stories related to this endeavor brings tears to my eyes. The sad fact is that I have multiple personal family examples of this type and other cancers that have taken family lives. The GREAT news is that I also have my own wife, mother and aunt that are dealing AND LIVING currently with this cancer or the emotional “aftermath” of cancer. I truly believe that organizations such as LLS and CTCA are making a difference and programs such as this are keeping the dream alive. That dream is curing ALL cancers! I know medically that is an almost impossible dream due to the unique characteristics of cancer but we all should dream big!! Dream BIG Madie!!! I’m so proud of you and greatful for for your efforts of bringing awareness to and supporting such a great cause!!!
