Team Journey To The Cure
As we approach the final days of this campaign, I wanted to give a BIG thank you to everyone that has supported me on this journey. This has been such an amazing experience, and I am beyond blessed to have your support. Thank you all for your kindness and generosity. It is so humbling and I am forever grateful.

World Cancer Day
Hello Everyone,
As we reach another World Cancer Day (how sad that this is a day), I wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone that has generously donated to my campaign so far. To those that have not, I humbly ask you to donate today in honor of World Cancer Day. I am supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in memory of my Aunt Judi, who passed away from Multiple Myeloma last September. And today, on World Cancer Day on February 4th, your donation means a future without blood cancers, and we need your help to reach that goal.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is at the forefront of the fight to cure cancer and has invested nearly $1.3 billion in groundbreaking research, pioneering many of today’s most innovative approaches. We know that the cure for cancers is in our blood, and LLS’s research will significantly impact the future of cancer.
I am asking you to support our fundraising efforts today on World Cancer Day by making a tax-deductible donation. Your donation will help create a future without blood cancers – now is your chance to make a difference! Thank you for supporting the mission of LLS and team Journey to the Cure!

Kickoff Day!
Happy Kickoff Day, everyone! Thank you for taking the time to visit my campaign page. Team Journey to the Cure is so excited to kick off this campaign, and we are working tirelessly to reach our goal!
I wanted to take a few moments to share with you more about why this campaign is so important to me. My aunt Judi, who passed away from Multiple Myeloma, and I had a very close relationship with one another. We both loved getting letters in the mail, so we frequently wrote to one another. Aunt Judi always made the best chicken and dumplings, and I can say that I have never tasted any dish as good as her recipe. Aunt Judi was loved by everyone, no matter where she went, she left people with a smile on their face. When Aunt Judi lost her battle with cancer, I was devastated. She is the reason I joined the Students of the Year campaign. I want to help ensure that no other family has to lose a loved one to cancer.
I would greatly appreciate your consideration of a donation, not only to help Team Journey to a Cure reach our goal, but also to help those that are battling this terrible disease. After all, beating cancer is in our blood.

Lauren's Students of the Year Fundraiser
Welcome To My Fundraising Page!
My name is Lauren, I am a senior at Eastside High School, and I am raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I am raising funds on behalf of my Aunt Judi. Aunt Judi taught me many things, but the most significant lesson was to make the best out of every situation. Even though she could have rested during the outbreak of COVID-19, she made thousands of masks for her neighborhood. She poured her heart and soul into giving back to others. Aunt Judi lost her battle to Multiple Myeloma this September. She, along with countless other amazing people, deserve to be remembered for their heroic battle with cancer.
Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by donating to my fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, my efforts will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today. These funds will go toward research that could save the lives of people just like my Aunt Judi!
LLS's continued advancements over the years are responsible for doubling and tripling the blood cancer survival rate; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled!
And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers, including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic, and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Multiple Sclerosis.
We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax-deductible. They'll support LLS research and patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services. This could change the lives of
Please visit my Web site often and bring friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, I thank you for your support!

Thanks again for your support of the mission of LLS,
Lauren

Lauren, thank you for sharing the special relationship you had with your Aunt Judi. This world is a better place with you sharing her love with others. I had a special Aunt like that who was always there for me, who also died of cancer. Thank you for reminding me of her today. Jim Ingram

Thanks for your work for the LLS. My daughter Allison had leukemia 9 years ago. Because of the research and effort of those before her she was treated successfully and is a healthy high school senior.
