Welcome to Taylor DeVine's SOY Fundraising Page!
My name is Taylor Devine, I am a 17-year-old Junior at OABCIG High School from Ida Grove, Iowa. I have lived in Ida Grove my whole life. I am an outgoing and personable person and open to helping anyone out. I enjoy dance of all styles. I do competitive dance at 5-Star Dance and Tumbling, and am a part of the school dance team. I also participate in state solo and have achieved a Division 1 rating the last three years. I received All Iowa dance honors this year. Dance is a passion and love of mine and my outlet of expression. I love cheering on my Falcons! I especially love cheering for basketball, I love the game! I am an honor roll student, choir student and a member of our local chapter Key club. I plan to attend a university after graduation. I am still undecided in my major or school. I chose to run for Student of the Year because Cancer has been a word in my household that has hurt us deeply. Although my family was not effected specifically by blood cancers, I found The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society most appealing with their commitment to children, and their $20 million pediatric research grants. When I lost my grandmother to cancer, she told me to not worry her life was full of wonders and love. When I see young children in hospital beds I want to help. I want to bring awareness to childhood cancers. No child or family should face this alone. I am excited to do my part to help. In the scheme of things it seems so small, but together we are saving lives. Please consider donating to the fight. At the end of this campaign I can’t wait to see the difference we made with the help of my amazing team.
Thank you for your support!

As a cancer survivor myself. Anytime I can help with cancer research, I'm in. Every little bit helps.
