Hello! We are honored to have the opportunity to participate as a team in the 2020 Students of the Year program. The Students of the Year is a seven week program where selected high school students from across the nation are able to participate in a fundraising competition that benefits The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The candidate team that raises the most money at the end of the seven weeks is named Students of the Year. We are proud to be representing the Bay Area through our fundraising efforts. We are raising money in honor of Mayah, Athena’s younger sisters best friend who was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2016. Mayah battled Leukemia for two years and is now successfully cured. We are not only raising money, but awareness to blood cancers, such as Leukemia. The money that you are generously donating is going to blood cancer research, support for patients, and ensuring that patients have access to the care and treatment they need.

 We have been given a wonderful opportunity to support others and could not do it without your generous and admirable support.

We want to give others a chance to fulfill their possibilities in life. By fundraising for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, we are able to open opportunities to those affected by blood cancer. 

We are all here for one common reason: to believe the cure and cure it once and for all.

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS-funded research but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need.
