Hi, friends and family! I am running as a candidate for a team that will compete with other students around the Bay Area for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Greater Bay Area Student of the Year fundraising campaign. The campaign runs from January 10– March 2, 2019, our team goal is to raise $50,000! The money that my team, Cancer Crushers, raises will go directly to LLS in support of its longstanding mission to find a cure for blood cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

      I joined the campaign because a few of my family members have been affected by breast cancer as well as Multiple Myeloma (bone marrow blood cancer) and knowing that I have the opportunity to help others who’ve gone through similar journeys allows me to give back to my community. With a goal of $50,000 I’m asking for as much as you’re willing to give, but large or small, your contribution to this worthy effort will be greatly appreciated.

      My team and I are working to increase awareness about the impact of blood cancers and the cutting edge treatments currently being researched, as well as inspiring others to join the fight to find a cure. I could not be more excited to make a difference in the lives of patients across the country.
