Hi! My Name is Shwetha. It is already hard enough for Lymphoma and Leukemia-diagnosed patients to afford their medications, but due to the coronavirus, many are unable to get their clinical trials as well. Therefore, their lives are being endangered and there is nothing they can do to help their situations. This is why I, Shwetha John, and Esha Francis, my running-mate for the Student of the Year Campaign, decided to take part in the LLS Students of the Year campaign. We want to help those who cannot help themselves. We want to raise money for these patients to help them get the medications that they need to beat cancer. We are honored to be a part of this program in order to help find cures for blood cancer patients, as well as, improve the system of medical treatment so more people can get the help they need to survive.
