My name is Sophia Henson, and I am 18 years old. At the beginning of quarantine (March 2020), a woman named Tia Bee Stokes kept popping up on my social media sites. She is a mom of five that was diagnosed with Leukemia that March. She also battled pneumonia, failing kidneys, and the coronavirus. I began following her on all her platforms because I was so inspired by the attitude she kept throughout her battle. I am running for Student of the Year because it gives me an opportunity to put this inspiration into something amazing.
