Joe's Students of the Year Fundraiser
Feb 09, 2021
My name is Joe Mura. I am a sophomore at Chaminade College Preparatory School in St. Louis Missouri. I am honored to be a candidate in this year’s Student of the Year campaign. I have aspirations towards a future career in medicine. I hope my fundraising efforts for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will lead to breakthroughs, treatments, and even cures for Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma. Personally, my family has been touched by cancer and I hope my efforts will allow research to prevent other families from going through the same heartache.

Joe, I am super proud of you for doing this! My sister had Hodgkin's Lymphoma and was a survivor. Tragically, she passed away 2 years later at the age of 32 due to complications from the chemo & radiation treatments that she received. The money for which you are fundraising will help the doctors & scientists develop better treatments so that what happened to my sister won't happen to anyone else. God bless you, Joe, for doing this! Thank you so much, Profe Menshouse
