Happy New Year!!! PLEASE SHARE OUR TEAM FUNDRAISING PAGE WITH AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN - Anyone can still join Team Cancer Crushers to help us reach or exceed our Goal!

Approximately every 3 minutes, one person in the United States is diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma and an estimated 1,629,474 people in the US are living with or in remission from these blood cancers.

We have been privileged with the honor of becoming co-candidates for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign. This campaign is a leadership development program for motivated high school students which runs from January 8th – February 24th. Our hope is to raise critical funds and awareness fueling the LLS mission of finding a cure for blood cancers and improving the quality of life of patients and their families.

We are writing today to ask for your support. We have created a team, Team Cancer Crushers, of committed friends and family to partner with us on this journey to reach our fundraising goal of $30,000! The money we raise will specifically fund LLS’ cutting-edge research for life-saving therapies and treatments.

Sophia’s Cause: My mother, Heather Gibbons, was diagnosed with advanced-stage Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at 48 years old, while battling numerous other health conditions. At first, I was fearful and felt helpless. My Granddad Roger had already been battling blood cancer for years. However, while watching my mother courageously power through chemotherapy and countless doctor’s appointments over the past 3 years, I became inspired to join in on this fight through LLS.

Ryan’s Cause: I lost my Grandma Linda to stomach cancer when I was only 7 years old. I witnessed her struggles with cancer, and she has truly been missed by our family. Even though she did not have blood cancer specifically, I have chosen to support LLS as blood cancer research is the gateway into many other forms of cancer research since blood is accessible and can easily be tested. I am fighting with LLS to cure ALL cancers!

Our campaign will provide support to the critical work of LLS in hopes that one day no one will have to watch a parent suffer with cancer or grow up without the ones they love. We know that with your help, we can reach our goal and make a direct impact in the battle against blood cancers.

We thank you in advance for partnering with a campaign so close to our hearts. Every gift counts!

Please share our mission. So many people have been affected by Cancer. Go Team Cancer Crushers!
