Why am I doing this?
I am doing this because my dad is one of my favorite people. He got me involved with soccer and its one of our favorite pastimes to this day. I couldnt imagine my life without him. When my dad was around my age, my grandfather was diagnosed with leukemia. This changed the course of his life forever and sadly just nine months later he passed away.

I never got the opportunity to meet him. Because I am very close with my dad, I jumped at this opportunity when I heard about it to help honor my grandfather's memory. Leukemia played a big role in my parents life and I am doing this for my dad and grandfather to hopefully make change so stories like theirs are less and less common.
