Hi there! My name is Mila and I am so excited to be a part of the Fighting for Heidi LLS team! Having a personal interest in oncology, sparked by my dad, who is an orthopedic oncologist and my relationship with the Stone girls who lost their mother to cancer, has motivated me to support the leukemia and lymphoma society and raise money for this cause. I have known Savannah and Ella Stone since first grade, just after they lost thier mother to cancer. Ever since, my family and I have made them bannana bread on her birthday as a special reminder of thier mom. Knowing how much these girls appreciate this small gesture, I was overjoyed when they told me about the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and how I could help make a difference for even more people. It is the greatest way to continue my support and hopefully bring an end to theses types of diseases. I am deditated to bring forth a platform where others can also share their generosity through donations to further research and treatment. Having had multiple family memebers fall ill to cancer, along with one of my closest cousins having lymphoma, I know the difficulties of these diesease and the suffering of those involved. I am so thrilled to raise awareness, and raise money to support patient education, reasearch, and treatment of leukemia and lymphoma.
