Our wonderful team of 13!

Maddie Hall, Marakey Tariku, Noelle Wirima, Bornini Chandra, Meryem Babanazarova, Sebastian Marr, Sarah Small, Sydney Wescott, and Julia Bray are all fellow high schoolers who are passionate about being part of a change.

Kathy Swahn and Renee Scudder have been very generous for helping Hopeful Hearts for a Cure achieve the most possible with our campaign!

Across all age groups and some of our best peer students we are beyond lucky to lead such a hard working and encouraging group.

Being a part of the seven week fundraising challenge for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is working to solve one problem everyone knows; Cancer.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on the vision of a better world. Of a world where blood cancers are eliminated and a cure for cancer is instigated in society.

As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:

  • Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
  • Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
  • Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.

Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations mean so much to our entire team (and are tax-deductible). Please visit our team page website often to keep track of our progress to reach out goal!

Spread the word by sharing this link to your friends & family who may also like to donate!

We all thank you for your support, our efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, your consideration and donation is life-changing.

Sincerely,

Team Hopeful Hearts for a Cure

Hey, everyone. It’s my hope that one day cancer is eradicated and so many people won’t have to continue suffering. The diagnosis is one of the worst tragedies possible for a family, and it’s heartbreaking how many have fallen to it. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this problem. Hopefully, more research is conducted and we progress towards a cure or better treatment options. Stay strong, everyone.

Visionaries will help save us all. It gives me hope that younger people like you are already looking for ways to change the world. Sending encouragement and spiritual support from Renee's friends in Marblehead.

Thanks for the opportunity to support a cause. I have lost a friend and a family member losing their lives because of this. I wish the researchers find the cure as early as possible and save the lives.
