The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on the vision of a better world - one without blood cancers. 

Hi everyone! This year we, Alexis Lubow and Jill Yoder, are leading a team of high schoolers throughout a campaign to raise life-saving funds for blood cancer patients. We are proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission. We are currently juniors at North Atlanta High School and this is our second year participating in Student Visionaries of the Year. Cancer support is a cause very close to us both as we both have grandparents who have battled cancer. This year we have decided to lead our team in honor of Gloria Starkman, grandma of Alexis, who has fought cancer twice and been able to grow stronger because of it. She is a strong, independent, and selfless role model and we could not be more excited to honor her in this campaign.
