This year we are privileged to be nominated as candidates for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) 2019 Students of the Year campaign representing Savannah Christian Preparatory School. Students of the Year is a seven-week fundraising competition to raise money in support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Together as a team, we will raise the funds necessary to benefit those who need them. We are asking you to help us assist the efforts of LLS to find a cure for blood cancer.

We are very passionate about helping LLS.

Each charitable dollar you contribute makes an impacting difference in the lives of blood cancer patients and their families. One hundred percent of these funds go directly to LLS in support of its longstanding mission to find a cure for blood cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

My name is Elizabeth Oliver and I am a senior at Savannah Christian Preparatory School. I am competing in honor of my cousin Hodge who was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in May of 2016 at age 5. He was treated at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and has been cancer free for almost 24 months for which, I am so thankful. I am so excited to be on this team representing our school and supporting a cause that is dear to my heart.

My name is Samantha Zittrauer and I am also a senior at Savannah Christian Preparatory School. I am honored to be involved in this incredible campaign. My passion is to help people in any way that I can. I have a tender heart when it comes to cancer because one of my grandparents passed away from colon cancer. Solving world problems, like finding cures for blood cancers, is something I hope to help achieve and this campaign is one way I can get closer to completing that goal.
