Boy & Girl of the Year
For many kids, going back and forth to the hospital is not a normal part of their routine. For LLS’s Boy and Girl of the Year, Michelle and JD, this is just a normal part of their life. A little less than a year ago Michelle was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and JD was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2016. The candidates for Students, Men, and Women of the Year are running in honor of the boy and girl, as well as anyone else they may be doing it for. JD and Michelle are a reminder that the money we are raising is going to help people that are right in our communities.
One person in the US is diagnosed with a blood cancer about every 3 minutes. At any moment, someone you know may be diagnosed with a blood cancer. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is working hard to decrease the number of people diagnosed every year. An estimated 1,345,123 people in the US are either living with, or are in remission from, leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma.
Together, we can help to decrease the amount of people dying from different blood cancers. Donating money is one of the best ways to get involved. Donating will provide critical funds for research to find new treatments for patients just like JD and Michelle. Thank you for supporting my campaign and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!
LLS’s Mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families

Beating Cancer
Every 3 minutes one person in the United States is diagnosed with a blood cancer. LLS is leading the way to change that. With your donation you are helping to decrease how many people are diagnosed everyday by proving a way for more research to be done. Lets work together to beat cancer!
One Month Away!
Only one month until the kickoff of the Students of the Year campaign! Let's get excited!

Aneesah I do not have the attire here required to attend your Savannah event. I must pass on the invite, as I prefer to invest in your cause rather than my clothing. Sincerely Drew
