We're so proud of what LLS Students of the Year are accomplishing in the spirit of fighting blood cancers.

3-2-1...Let's Do This!

We were nominated as co-candidates for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's 2021 Students of the Year program, a 7-week initiative where we lead a hand-picked team of motivated high school students to participate in a campaign to raise funds for blood cancers. We are honored to lead this team, called Out4Blood, given how dear this cause is to our hearts and because so many people close to us have battled cancer.

We are asking you to donate to our campaign in the hope that one day other families won’t have to face the same devastating diagnosis.

Our inspiration for this campaign is our team's honored hero. Jake is an incredible 13-year-old currently battling Leukemia, and we were introduced to him because he is on Jordan’s younger brother’s baseball team. While going through chemotherapy, Jake begged his doctors to allow him to continue to play baseball. As a side effect of his treatments, Jake’s feet are numb. Yes, let that sink in…he is running the bases and can’t feel his feet! Watching Jake maintain such high spirits while fighting blood cancer has further fueled us to fight for more research and hopefully, to find a cure. On behalf of warriors like Jake and his family, we sincerely thank you for your support!
