Dear Friends and Family, 

We hope that your 2020 is off to a healthy and happy start.  We have been busy and are excited to tell you why. Please allow us to introduce ourselves. We, Aidan and Mallory, are both Freshmen at New Hope Solebury High School and are active members in our community.  Aidan is a football player on our JV team and runs both Winter and Spring Track. Mallory plays Field Hockey for the high school and other organizations such as Mystx. You may recognize the name "Caped CUREsaders," and that is because the team is a legacy team - three years in the running! Caleb Ferraez led the team in 2018 and 2019, raising almost $80,000! We are honored to continue the fight, by participating in the 6th Annual Students of the Year (SoY) Campaign for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The SoY Campaign is a seven-week fundraising competition between nominated high school students. Every dollar counts as a vote, and the student or student group with the most votes, or money raised, at the end of the seven-week period is named Student(s) of the Year.  

We believe in the mission of LLS: To cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma and to improve the quality of life for our patients and their families. We’ve seen the effects of blood cancers on family and friends - both children and adults. We feel the need to do our part.  For the third consecutive year, the Caped CUREsaders will be raising money to help LLS fund the therapies and treatments that help save lives today.  You can help by contributing to our campaign online at https://events.lls.org/epa/soyphilly20/ccuresader or checks can be made out to LLS (and sent to Caped CUREsaders at 88 N Main St. New Hope, PA 18938).  If you would like to show your support by attending our fundraising events, please see the attached Calendar of Events.  We’d love to see you some time during our 7 week campaign!
