Dear Friends and Family-

We are certain you know someone who has been affected by cancer. Cancer is a frightening disease that affects millions of people every year. We are very proud to announce our candidacy for the 2019 Students of the Year campaign benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We are raising critical dollars in honor of a young patient hero named Delaney who is currently in remission from a blood cancer. Each dollar we raise is a vote. The candidate team that raises the most money at the end of the seven weeks is named Student(s) of the Year. Our mission is to not only raise the most money but also to bring attention to blood cancers like leukemia, which is the most common form of cancer in children and teens.

Our goal is to raise $30,000 during the 7-week fundraising period, January 21st - March 9th and WE NEED YOUR HELP! Your kind and generous donation will help blood cancer patients, support their families, and help conduct valuable research on this terrible disease. We encourage you to help spread this message to your friends and family and motivate them to donate to our campaign as well.

Living with blood cancer is an everyday battle both physically and mentally. With YOUR help, team Grace and Paige for Change is committed to making an impact in the lives of these patients. Thank you for your help, your donations truly do make a difference.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society strives to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. They have invested over $1.2 billion in research and helped thousands of patients and their families, aiding them in their difficult journeys with blood cancers.

Since the early 1960s, five-year survival rates for many blood cancer patients have doubled, tripled or even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are helping patients with other cancers and serious diseases. In fact, drugs first approved for blood cancers are now approved to treat patients with stomach cancers, skin cancers, and autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis.

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS-funded research but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need.
