Kickoff
Happy kickoff!! We are very excited for the next seven weeks. We spent our first official day of fundraising with the other candidates and honored hero, Jared. We look forward to the many amazing people we will encounter along our journey. Please consider contributing to this special cause!
Welcome to Team Tomorrow's SOY Fundraising Page!
We are honored to participate in the 2019 Students of the Year program, a seven-week initiative in which select high school students from around the country participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We are proud to be raising critical dollars in honor of a young patient hero who is currently battling or is in remission from a blood cancer. Each dollar is a vote. The candidate team that raises the most money at the end of the seven weeks is named Student(s) of the Year. We have joined forces for this campaign to become Team Tomorrow because our goal, win or lose, is to create tomorrows for those who do not have any and for those who are afraid of what tomorrow might bring.
Since the early 1960s, five-year survival rates for many blood cancer patients have doubled, tripled or even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are helping patients with other cancers and serious diseases. In fact, drugs first approved for blood cancers are now approved to treat patients with stomach cancers, skin cancers, and autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis. We both have seen cancer strike in our friends and family and are happy to know our efforts in raising funds for LLS can be used for all cancers, not just blood cancers.
We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS-funded research but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need.
Please visit our website often and bring friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support!

Isabella: You are to be commended for the work you're doing with LLS to find a cure for blood cancers. Having been involved in the DC chapter for the last several years, we've learned how effectively monies raised have been used to improve the efficacy of drugs, therapies and other treatments which have been used to save the lives of so many people. Best of luck in the Student of the Year campaign, and remember that you are a WINNER no matter the outcome. Love, Uncle Dave, Aunt Regina, James and Grace.
