Cancer forever changed my life in 2010 when my  grandmother was diagnosed with colon cancer.  The disease completely took over her body and in just six weeks, she passed away, devastating my family.  She was only 71 years old and the center of my family. This past fall, I watched a friend,  the football coach at Muhlenberg College, die from leukemia. Coach Donnelly passed away at only 65 years of age. It was a tragic loss for the Muhlenberg community that has been my second home for most of my life.  Losing two incredible role models to cancer has fueled my desire to do everything I can to make a difference.

Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, my efforts, will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today.

LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.

And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.

We really are changing the face of blood cancer!

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.

Please visit my Web site often over the next seven weeks and bring friends who would also like to donate!  My campaign will conclude on March 10, 2018!

Thank you for your support!

She was a special and loving grandmother.

My grandmother and grandfather celebrating a basketball championship with me!  This photo was taken just four months before she passed away.

Coach Donnelly after winning his 100th game at Muhlenberg!  He had a great sense of humor - he used to tell me all the time how much I looked like my dad.  Then with a low chuckle, he'd say "I'm really sorry about that"!  Hysterical, every time!
